Just a quick doodle sort of thing I played about with while I was flying in Scotland. I got ANOTHER week up in Dundee flying with Tayside Aviation, and stayed in a posh Hilton hotel, all courtesy of the RAF! Score
Only trouble was my hotel room had that funny yellow lighting, which was mega snuggy but made any serious drawing impossible, so I decided not to work on any proper pieces and just doodle instead
Sorry that this is so small, it's about half A5 in real life, so making it any bigger would pixelate it!
Robespierre was known to get incredibly nervous and uneasy before he made his speeches, particularly in his early Convention days. He wasn't a particularly confident speaker; his voice was weak and he would re-write and edit his speeches many times, perfecting every word before he felt confident enough to present it to his audience. He remained a shy, rustic lawyer from Arras for the entirety of his political career, and I think little details like that are what makes history so wonderful.
I got a whole load of Second World War pieces coming up soon, as I was lucky enough to spend a day with the 2nd Ranger Re-enactors a few weeks back and managed to get plenty of photos to work from. Woo!
